No RPO for mine, I decoded them all and there’s nothing about the external oil cooler.

I think it's stock. I'm not sure there's an internal one in the radiator. Doesn't the crossover land at the very edge on top of the drivers side?

You can see the lines go right past the radiator to the oil cooler mounted in front.

Yup. Me too. I don't think there's even an rpo for it. The trans cooler has one though, and it's AUX, not external.

KNP - HD AUX TRANS. COOLING SYS

This rpo refers to the the one outside of the radiator.

The tall, skinny cooler on the drivers side looks suspiciously like the power steering coolers I robbed off of GMT 800 Suburbans and are now residing on my two GMT 400 pickups........?

One giveway is trans and power steering coolers will have 3/8" lines, while engine oil lines will be 1/2". At least on the GM trucks...........
I never really paid attention to it other than it was almost in the way of my intercooler I was installing. I wanted my Whipple installed!

it is, engine cooler is in main radiator on the driver side, radiator with engine cooler is about 1" thicker.

Wow, looks like the cooler itself was leaking. I've never seen or heard of that. Usually it is the cooler lines that begin leaking at the hard line to flex hose union. Of course, GM made the cooler and lines all one unit. I cut out the flex hose in mine, flared the hard lines and replaced the flex portion with braided lines.

well just imagine if mine main radiator goes bad, wonder what's going to happen when trans fluid engine coolant and engine oil mixed together?

I've seen alot of them leak the same as mine. I'm in NJ, so maybe has something to do with our salty winters.
