How’d you manage to get the old logo off? Can you describe how you did? I’ve tried prying mine off but it doesn’t want to budge. Also tried heating it but stopped because I didn’t want to warp the plastic. Still didn’t seem to make much of a difference?

Glasses repair screw driver. Popped right off.

Oh ok - with a flat head? Did you just pry from the edge of the logo?

Nevermind, a tiny flathead screw driver (prying from/into the edge of the stock logo) as recommend got it off.

Glad I saw this.
My fob has not been working or it takes the strength of pissed off silverback to unlock the doors.
I don't have any bells or whistles on my 07 Tahoe. Mine has only 4 buttons, Lock, unlock, rear window release and alarm.
Is it not worth getting an OEM fob?
Do they make any fancy 4 button fobs?

Clean it it's not broken...


I cleaned my tonight and it WORKS like brand new.


rubbing alcohol
qtips
and tissue paper


DONT pour the alcohol on the FOB put it on the qtip or tissue paper..


there was sticky goo on it ( corn syrup )


Works PERFECTLY now

Don't try and clean the side with the Chips on it you may damage them.... only the side with the carbon pads as well as the rubber thing

A pencil eraser works good as well if you need a quick fix and don't have alcohol handy.

Cleaned one of my fobs. I was shocked at how much condensation was inside of it.
I rubbed it down with some alcohol and let it dry for a bit. Works great now.

Now the only problem is, its so damn old that some of the plastic seal crumbled and I have to use some electrical tape to hold it together now but, it works

I'll do the same to my spare this weekend.

AutoSync will allow programing of new remotes and keys to 2010-2014 along with reading / clearing DTC codes through the DIC, one touch down on all windows w/ drivers one touch up/down, 11-14 have instant on access to rear camera at any time, program VIN into replacement radio/Navi plus a lot more.

I took my 5 button cadillac remote apart and figured out why the rear glass would not open. There are three contacts underneath the trunk button and it wasn't letting me click the middle contact which is the one that opens the rear glass. Since I don't have power lift gate, I just cut down the left and right contacts and now the middle one can be pressed just fine and works properly.

I know this is a very old thread but I sn trying to add this style to my 2011 tahoe.
I've purchased this type (5btn) and one with lift gate and rear window unlock....I couldn't get the one with lift gate btn to work at all, I don't have a lift gate...the 5btn will not unlock my rear gate window...I have found some 5btn locally that were used on a Cadillac CTS / STS 2008 thru 2013, new batteries installed, P/N M3N5WY7777A ...Will these work?
