Nice work.

Nice work x 2. Those 22s look good on the NBS.

Thanks guys! I’ve almost got it completed. Headliner and seats back in today then was able to wash it. Discovered a lot of swirling and surface scratches.

Bought some OEM floor mats.

Then my father in law dropped off my one of his vehicles. His company gets him a new lease vehicle every 6 years. He has the option to buy them for the residual left on the lease. This one my brother law has been driving. My father in law tells me if I keep the truck he just wants to recoup his money. If I sell it we split the money.

New motor last year due to oil consumption and then ran low on oil.
I am replacing the headlight to match the driver. Getting ready to take it to the body shop to fix the fender.
New steering wheel will be here Monday.
Replaced one tire and tire pressure sensor.
Did a pretty thorough detail.

I thought I scored on some parts in OKC. When the parts arrived something was wrong!!! I immediately went back to the email conversation to confirm what I told them. I was clear and they were not. I don’t mind painting the parts but the fender is damaged.

I was hoping to buy a Summit white fender and bolt it on. If it wasn’t perfect have the fender painted and blended. At that time change out the headlight. I was trying so save some labor on the RR and headlight install. Didn’t quite work out. Lol

Also my 16’ trailer got stolen right after I fixed the wiring. I looked for another used trailer for about 2 months. I ended up buying a new 20’.

Went to a buddies shop to try and figure out the Suburban cluster and reverse camera problems. He was working on this. It was an extended cab and was converted to a single cab. That’s his white truck. He also has a bagged black single cab.

Added some illuminated door sills to the wife’s Suburban. They were cheap on eBay the only bad part is they did not come with the complete GM harness and instructions. I was able to find the instructions online. I tapped into the white plug, gray wire on the BCM and grounded where the GM instructions mentioned.

Here is the eBay link.

I like these... they have been in my watch list for a while. I just wish they had a matching set for the rear of the Burb... I like things to match.

I thought the exact same thing. Then again my kids would tear them up anyway. Lol

Changed it up a little! Got a great deal on the TBSS 24s. Had to replace one wheel and straighten a slight bend in one other. Sold the black wheels and put on new tires. The smoked lights were turning yellow and fading so I took this opportunity to update those also.

The door panels had some broken attachment tabs on the back. I replaced them also.

That arm rest is going to have to be replaced eventually. I didn’t see it until I had it all back together.

I have some updates coming on the Suburban soon also!

Sweet wheel set up!!

My arm rest wants to do the same thing in the same spot.

Must be the weak spot for the pulling on the handle. I like the darker grey/charcoal of the handle too.

Now you need to color math the bow tie to the wheels or billet. :)

Love those rims! Why can't you use your old armrests? You know they unbolt from the door panels.

Thanks man! Lol

I was thinking about a billet bow tie. If I run across one I might go ahead and buy it. I’m going to concentrate on the interior right now. Being the kid hauler for over a decade it needs a hard detail.

The old arm rest had the clip broke where the switch bezel met the door panel. Also the new door panels are off I believe a LT so they are two tone to match the dash. The arm rests were different colors.

Winner. Alas, it looks like he has chrome.

Billet would for sure be nice and complementary.

That Metallic spray would work, but it is a bit softer to work with the machine face and the painted spokes.

What do you think?

Yeah. I thought about that as I was typing. He's chrome, for sure. But he said Billet..... And i knew if I tagged you, a photo would appear. I win again!

Man your truck is clean! Love the color matching.

The silver is slightly off but only to you a few others. It pretty darn close.

In my case I think chrome or billet is the only way to go. If you guys know where to get one let me know. I looked briefly on eBay and wasn’t too impressed.

Not sure but I had an OBS the same color as @Fosscore. One of my favorite colors. When taken care of it has a great shine! That Tahoe had a billet bow tie. That picture was taken about 10 years ago. I feel like I’m getting old saying that. Haha
