Great idea. I was thinking about replacing my chrome handles with color-matched ones. But it's a bunch of work to do. I didn't think vinyl would work. But this has me thinking of trying it with mine. Thanks for sharing.
I was originally playing around with the idea of combining color matched handles with a chrome pull section. Kinda like the z71 handles but chrome instead of silver. My wife was the one that pointed out the new Tahoe handles and I fell in love with the combo. I couldn’t install those so I figured I’d try to make them

Someone needs to make a vinyl decal kit in different colors for these.

I'll buy a carbon black set!

I’m not one of those dicks who don’t share.....if it helps the ones I made are 11” long .75” tall on one end and 1” on the other. I’ve got more vinyl left over so I might get a buddy to cut them on his plotter and fine tune the measurements.

Well done. That is super clean looking.

Also what size of wheels are you running. I love the overall look.

That helps a lot. Three of them would be pretty easy to cut by hand. But the driver door has to be cut out around the lock cylinder. A vinyl cutter would do a better job than I would, lol. Now if I could find vinyl in Carbon Flash Metallic...

I don't understand why GM bothered with a lock cylinder, BTW. If I unlock the door with the key the alarm goes off!

for the driver handle i installed the vinyl, hit the key area with a heat gun, pushed it in with my finger, and cut it out with a fresh razor blade. i was worried about that door as well but it worked pretty easy.

Okay, you sold me. I've been wanting to black out my GMC emblems anyway. So I've bought a small roll of vinyl to play with. I'll do the door handles first to practice.
