A little honk isn't that big of a deal. Now it really gets bad when you have a train horn like I do. Lol.....

I have learned to just leave the door unlatched, while running for no horn.

I'm not sure, as I have an SLE but,

In my wife's hybrid Camry, if you leave a fob in there, leave the car and lock it with a different fob, the car is cool with that and doesn't get upset.

My Ford Fusions honk if the motor is running and you take the key. My Volvo just shuts the motor off when you get out with the key.

Sometimes I exit the vehicle while it is running and have the key in my pocket. Is there a way I can get it stop honking when I do this?

Is this something on the newer models? I have a 2016 and it never beeped while running and if I exit the car with key in my pocket.

Leads to a funny story - went to an event with some friends. My buddy needed to go back to his car. As we walked up I could hear a car running. I said to my friend - some idiot left their car running. Friend turns to me - that idiot is you. Thank goodness we went back, truck would have have been running for 4 hours.
