Who knows!? Quite a few of us have purchased and installed with no significant issues to date. Given, longevity hasn't been determined but for the price, why not!? You can buy three sets of DDM's for each of the other expensive ones....between the three, you should be able to outlast one set of the expensive ones!Sorry to hijack the thread, but how is it possible for DDM Tuning to offer HID's for $50 when everyone else is right arounf $150 for H11's and $150 for 5202's. Even Custom Creations has the 5202's listed at $149.99. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a matching set of 35 watt 6000K and I want to make sure I get good ones.

He said they are bullet proof though.
has anyone had problems with the 5202(H16) 35watt kits melting the fog lense or housing?
I have melted mine before but never with the 5202 bulbs. Are the bulbs to close to the lense? Sometimes if you dont install them correctly they can do that too.
Very true. I am on my second set of bulbs and housings. It is best to pull the fog light housing out of the bumper to install the bulbs to make sure you done breat off one of the 5202 clips, and to make sure the bulb seats properly.
So with the 5202 bulb and make sure its seats properly I shouldnt have problems with a heat issue? How long have you have your 5202 bulbs in there? How long do you leave ur fogs on at one time?
Thanks for the help.
