Finally picked up a HD hood in pretty good shape minus some peeling paint above the drivers headight, I did blend it in no it’s not perfect but will do until I paint the Tahoe. May try lightly polishing it here in the next couple days to try and get the tape line down some but pretty happy with the outcome

I gave 250 for it, wanted a original one heard the aftermarket ones don’t fit great
Prices for them are all over the place. One member got one in great shape for $50, another member found a crappy one and they wanted $500 for it. I paid somewhere around $150-$175 for mine. Needed a little bondo and a repaint. You did good since it was already white.

Yeah they are this one doesn’t have a dent in just that paint spot where it peeled

Everything works, some of the button lights have burnt out like for the window switches, etc that I would like to fix. I’m hoping to find a how to for that.

on the 99-02 Chevy all you do is pull out the components :cluster, hvac controls, window switches, and you just pull the bulbs out and swap them with LEDs. 03-07 requires you to unsolder them and solder in new ones. There are several DIYs out there. The LEDs are directional, so if they don't work pull em out put em in the other way. LEDs mean you can change it to any color you want. Superbrightleds.com comes to mind, but I don't recall the bulb type. I think you can find em cheaper, but its a great reference site.

Mine was 254, I had them come to my house and do it

I got mine done, and that was a $35 house call. I went to their shop on a nice day and walked to the store a half mile away. I got either a 10 or 15% discount through my company, and it was $171. I was very happy with it.

Got into a bump up last Friday, i had the bumper replaced Saturday and got the new bumper fitting better than the original. Also got the correct lug nuts for my ppv wheels and picked up a factory trailer hitch and plug at the junkyard
