Just a friendly FYI:
I had this adjustable kit professionally installed at the (highest) 1.5" front lift setting and its been in use for about 3 months.
When I went to pick the Tahoe up, I was a bit surprised -- I thought it looked like too much lift in the front. The guy said the kit set at 1.5" actually lifted the front 2" based on his before / after measurements.
I often look at the truck parked in the driveway and it looks fine.....slightly more fender gap in the rear. I've measured the gaps in front and back and it comes out ok.
However, I've followed my wife through town, watching the stance and hate the way the front lifts up when she accelerates out of a stop.
I've watched her leave my driveway and accelerate down my road numerous times, and each time the Tahoe looks slightly "****"
(higher in front) for about 3-4 seconds. Then, it settles the weight back down and looks level.
I've also noticed that the body lines themselves (and window trim) seem to follow a little bit of a front leaning rake. I think it looks natural to have these trucks sitting with at least 1" more gap in the rear.
All in all, the kit is good, and I'm happy it's in there. I just thought I'd put out a warning for other very particular fellows out there. You might want to set the adjustable ReadyLift set to 1"......or do 1.5" (in my case it comes out to 2") and lift the rear a little.
I am going to fix my problem with this (MP1267):
