My DD a 2006 GMC Yukon has a 217k mile 5.3. I have an iron LY6 iron block, good crank, LS2 rods and pistons left over from my LS2 in my Trailblazer SS, 243 casting heads milled to bring me to 11.3-11.5 CR, 1 3/4" headers, 3.5" exhaust left over my Duramax with a Borla muffler SI/SO, Yank SS3600 converter from my Trailblazer that I plan to upgrade to a 4k-4400 stall, built transmission, 4.10 gears Detroit locker and hardened shafts from a Silverado I am swapping for a 14 bolt 6 lug rear with 3.42 for the turbo 370 build. Suspension is Belltech spindles, shocks, 5305 coils, DJM hardware, Air Lift air bags, and Spohn panhard bar. I hope to make close to 400 whp and maybe run some low 14s and upgrade to some SSBC brakes like my last Yukon XL I built. Problem is the truck is white and I want Escalade D pillars, a roll pan or some kind of painted front grill, bumper, and either roll pan or painted rear bumper. Does anyone have any suggestions that aren't Denali piece or extremely tacky?

If I could do the front end on the black truck here and paint it all white, then the Escalade smooth D pillars because on my last Yukon XL I built I used street scene pillars and they were awful. For a rear bumper the Z71 rear bumper, Denali rear bumper, or roll pan are all options. Although if I do a roll pan the exhaust will need to be dumped. Since I am using the stock Duramax exhaust from my 2005 3500 the tip is too big and would stick out too much with a roll pan. Unless I ditched the spare tire, trimmed the pan to recess the tips up into the roll pan and ran two tips under the license plate similar to a Vette.

I hope so, I have enough parts for the performance side. I lowered the truck and had some 24s to toss on there to clear the spindles. The Yukon is white and the wheels black so I am going to have them refinished in a medium grey with a light metal flake maybe i hope the truck meets my goals because a high 13 low 14 second 1/4 mile Yukon would be cool as shit. Who knows, I might toss on the drag pack from the turbo truck and see how deep in the 13s it could go. The Trailblazer pictured is where aome of the parts are coming from. The Yukon is lower 4"-5" with 24" wheels. Not my first choice but I'm hoping a color change helps 20180831_114728.jpg 20180831_114707.jpg

With the kind of power I hope to make which is around 400 whp with a SS3600 stall, 4.10 gears and an aftermarket diff should I consider an aftermarket driveshaft? The wheels and tires will be whats on there unless I don't 5 lug swap my turbo truck and run the drag pack and try for a hero time to see what it'd run.

I'd go aftermarket on the ds. Stocker isn't built for high speed. Supposedly around 130 or so is its max.

My goal is some high 13s low 14s. With a drag pack I would hope to get deeper in the 13s. So compression on a LS2 is 10.9 but I'm going to have the heads milled to up the CR to in the 11.4 range and with the stout cam and Tony Mamo ports Fast 102 I think I'll be very satisfied. I'm just not sure going from 3.73 to 4.10 would be worth it. If I didn't already have the rear end parts I'd get 4.30 or 4.56
