I too am a survivor, I know this is TMI but back in 99 I had a nut removed because of cancer. Close to twenty years later I keep my fingers crossed. Cancer took my dad and has affected my sister my sister-Inlaw, and Grandma. It's definetley nothing to ignore.
And we're all glad you are here to harass us Roger. :D

I get to work the protest on UNC campus tomorrow night, so afterwards I'll find the back of a grocery store or something somewhere to get a couple pics of the LED's in action to share.

I've ranted on here and lots in person about the LED/halogen reflection argument. The majority of reflector assemblies just scatter the LED and ultimately blind oncoming traffic. I've had mine in now for about 4 weeks, never been flashed once. In fact, there is a distinct cutoff at the top much like a Xenon/HID setup. Its not as defined, but there certainly is a cut off. I was very cautious the first few times I drove at night, besides anticipating getting flashed by oncoming traffic......I have also been cautious when approaching a stopped car from behind. This is when I really noticed the cut off line, and it being near or below the sideview mirrors on the passenger car in front of me. This is an alignment goal you'd have for proper height adjustment on the Xenons as well, so I have been extremely happy so far.

And you should be familiar with my screenname from HPJ :) , but then again maybe it made you laugh over there too. One of my longtime car buddies from there fired the name off for me, and it stuck (Tubbed440, Bryan.....if you remember him).

I'm sorry, I don't remember. Do you have the factory housings?

Of course I do, yes sir :)
I do remember Tubbed440. Man I haven't been on HPJ for a while. There was a long time when it wouldn't let me log in, not sure why. That went on for months. I'll try to log in tonight.

I am glad to hear. I'm amazed at how advanced the medicine is. I didn't know anything it when my brother told me, all I thought about was burying him. He taught me a lot as did several friends who were also survivors.
I keep my fingers crossed for my bro, its been about 4 years now. He's like a cat, nine lives. More sh*t has happened to him in the past 5 years than to many in a lifetime.

Yes sir

Looking forward to those shots.

No sir, running Continental 265/70's now.........and not looking back! Best thing I've done to the truck so far.
I have found that Falcon makes the ZE950 tire. It meets all the needs that the Firehawk GT does at half the price with twice the life. It has a 600/A/A rating which 600 means 62000 miles. The GT's only go 340 that is around 34000 miles

Social media killed most of the smaller forums, HPJ is still there but its pretty much dead.

Yup, I do have factory housings. Actually they are $100 Amazon headlights, these Tahoe headlights from them have been pretty good quality. No issues with leaking or moisture at all.

Come to think about it, I might just go ahead and make a thread in the Electronics forum giving my opinion and feedback, with some pics. Lots of folks still have questions about LED's and what path to take, I can throw in my own personal findings to add to the options. I think LED's are going to be fine in these housings, from a drivers standpoint and for passengers/oncoming traffic, since there still hasn't been a single issue.
