Not a bad idea. I'll check the over all condition of my hoses now if I see a crack or the start of one I'll swap them out

Don’t forget the hose that runs through the TB it’s two parts, Amazon has them all, replaced all of mine with Gates when I got mine.

Yup. Theres a bunch of hoses. I was looking around yesterday. Didn't look like fun. And I remember when I swapped my radiator out on the Tahoe. The job was easy enough but there were a bunch of lines and hoses

Probably never. It only has 105k on it
Over 250k on mine. Dealer told me not to replace them..go figure no issues after all these years. Best hoses I have seen on a car/truck. Check your heater hoses at the firewall. The connections are known to get brittle over time and fail.

I run dexcool with distilled water mix. I never put tap water in my cooling system. No coolant loss over the past 1.5 years since engine swap. It's better than the green stuff if u ask me. Just don't mix them.

Looking good! Some of us have completely destroyed drivers seats lol.

Just finished my drivers seat with Katzskin leather. It matches the 2tone door panels perfectly. The seat bottom where the controls are is a pita!! I'm sure the rest will go faster now that I'm over cutting perfectly good leather lol.

I used Durafoam from The Seat Shop since my bottom was destroyed. It's super comfortable like a couch. I hope it lasts. Figured I'll scrub the interior while I'm at it. Too many dirty hobbies lol.

How hard was it to do the upper seats? Especially with the seat belt.

I wonder the same thing. I checked the entire front of the cooling system and it was gone dry.

Is there images of where these get brittle and break.

Right where hoses connect to the fittings at the firewall

The upper was ez and straight forward. U just have to cut a relief hole for the seatbelt cover. It connects at 2 points and the hole just needs to be big enough to clear these. I have a side airbag and you just cut a hole the size of the inner square on the airbag and stretch the leather around it.

The Seat Shop has some really good videos on doing this upgrade..I drove out to their shop after finding out they are local. In the middle of some corn fields lol.
