Don’t know if this is the right thread for this, but tomorrow I’m gonna look at this suburban to see if the guy wants to trade for my 96. It’s a little rough, but it’ll be a toy, and I’ve always been a big fan of the old squarebody burbs.

Damn, it'd be hard for me to get rid of a 90s Full Size Blazer. I had an '89 K5 Square Body that I regret selling to this day. And you were this close to matching that forest green with that spray paint btw
I took a couple of pics of the 3" rear coil spacers and adjustable panhard bar from Supreme Suspensions that I installed a while back. I guess when you go up over 2" in the rear it can mess with the lateral movement of the tires/wheels. Mine were sticking out about an inch or so further on the passenger side. The adjustable panhard bar put it back to normal.

.I know theres aftermarket kits that allow this but didn't know factory was doing it. Nice.Cars that can be started from your phone already exist. My wife's Mazda CX5 had the option available. Brothers GL63 has phone start too.
I start my nnbs with my phone all the time.I know theres aftermarket kits that allow this but didn't know factory was doing it. Nice.
My cousin has the viper remote start with his smart phone.

I bought a replacement belt for my 03, just because it was old. I already had replaced my alt for a higher amp and everything was good. Well, the replacement, which the book said will fit, didn't. It was a hair too short. I had to bring my old belt to compare the size. I had to go 2 sizes bigger. Sometimes these trucks are just oddballs I guess. Did you compare it to your old belt?View attachment 192613 New drive belt won't fit. Tad bit smaller than the original but everything says this is supposed to work. is anybody aware of a hack like heating up the belt before you try to route it on there? Only problem is it takes too long to get the belt into position; it would be back to air temp when I finally got to the tensioner.
Part number is correct so all I can do is spend more money to return it then buy a different make. Seems like a lot of trouble for something fairly insignificant, right? I got too good of a deal on this piece to now start jumping through hoops but in my experience bargains come back to bite me in the a$$

The higher amp alt likely has a larger pulley to increase alt output at idle. Sometimes this requires a bigger belt. Ive installed overdrive alt pulleys and been lucky enough to have the belts fit though.
Ah i had it exactly backwards then. I suppose you are right. My mistake. The higher amp alt would most likely have a smaller pulley
What did that run you? Dealer?Got the new GM driver side arm rest in the other day
