I just recently bought a Tahoe and want the chrome grille gone. Is this the best way? Just replace it with a color matched one rather than spray painting? (my car is black).

I changed the awful gold bowtie emblems to black and ordered new 22" wheels.

I too, bought the black bow ties, but when you buy the color matched OEM grill from the new 2018's they come with a bow tie in the grille. It comes with it, no choice. Have the parts guy run the Vin on a new tahoe and they can pull the part number for a black grille, but you will need the eyebrows painted black to match.

That is THE perfect grill! Just emailed them to see if there is anything similar for a Tahoe.

Thinking about going chromeless. Anyone have any pictures from their dechromed “babies” or possibly paint match the side mirrors. Had it dropped added 22”s cold air intake and chrome exhaust.

Nice! Would love to see some night time light output pics of the headlights and fogs and just the fogs by themselves. Have heard good thing about these fog lights and they seem to have a much more usable light pattern than just putting LED bulbs in the factory housings.

Swapped in a 2018 grill and added painted (no wrap) black-center GMC emblems front and rear. Oh, and GMC valve stem caps.. no pic of those but I'm pretty sure u can adequately imagine them. [emoji41]

2016 Tahoe I have owned for 12 days. It had a bit of wind noise overhead. I noticed the front cross bar was positioned opposite from the arrows. I decided to remove both for aesthetics and now the noise is GONE!

Wife's 2015 Tahoe would not start. It had a complete loss of power, no dash lights, no key FOB, no head lights, etc. I had to manually unlock the doors. I did the usual checks, but all came back normal voltage. As soon as I took off the cover on top of the battery where there are underlying accessory power cables, the positive one fell apart as if the vehicle was 30 years old. I had a new one made and all is well.

Some people had issues with the ground cables, but I think this cable was made at 5pm on a Friday.

I could not believe a vehicle with 20k would have something like this happen. I am a car guy, so fortunately enough I took care of it, but anyone else would fork over $100-$200 of their own money to fix it.
