Recycling truck pulled up next to my house and one of their hydraulic lines exploded all over my Tahoe. All over my fence and driveway too. Unreal!!

Well finally had my box completed and installed last night. Had a box built to be a arm rest height center console in between the second row bucket seats dead space. 3 8” subs, leather wrapped to match the seats with black stitching & rhino liner coated legs with subtle LED’s underneath to give a faint glow.

I finally get to post on this thread after having my 2016 Yukon XL Denali for a little over 1 year. I wanted to get some new wheels to change out my 20” stock wheels and was prompted to change them out sooner due to the fact that the crappy Continentals got ridiculously worn out at about 20K miles. They tell me this is normal for the soft rubber and desert conditions. I’ve included some before and after picture and you guys can tell me if the wear on the Continentals looks normal for 20K miles. Anyways, swapped them our with 22” OE Wheels replicas of the newer style Denali’s and got Bridgestone to go with them. Also changed out the center caps with OE GMC black center caps. I really liked how it came out. I think the 22” is the right size for this SUV. I had also changed out the fog lights, reverse lights and license plate lights with VLEDs. Small changes but made a big difference. Now just temped to black out some of the chrome but don’t know which to try first.

Wow, I've never see a tire degrade like that. Was the SUV parked outside in the heat? You must live where it gets hot.

Is this the stock Denali grill with the GMC logo removed and painted black? Looks clean, I like it.

Unfortunately, we do keep it parked outside and in the So.Cal desert were it gets up to 120 degrees in the summer. But my other vehicles tires don't wear out that fast. I hope the Bridgestones wear better.

I got the bulbs from VLEDs.com License Plate: 5K LED 194, Reverse light: 5K LED 921, and Fog lights: 5K LED P13W. I went with the 5K instead of 6K because I don't like the blue-white of the 6K.

Bought a color matched grill. Body shop next week for the headlight eyebrows to be color matched.

Also, rear 2” lowering springs. Found a set of OEM 22”s that I will be PC black.[/QUOTE

Where did you get your color matched grill? I am considering just having it all sprayed since i would have to do the eyebrows anyway but want to compare prices for both.

Dealer. Cheaper, trust me. $412 for an OEM look. The inserts are gloss black. No faded plastic.

Are you saying you bought an OEM black grill or had a chrome one painted at the dealer?
It is a complete OEM grill painted to match from the factory. They would only have the colors that the new RST has out on the lot. It is the same grille that the 2018's have.

I just recently bought a Tahoe and want the chrome grille gone. Is this the best way? Just replace it with a color matched one rather than spray painting? (my car is black).

I changed the awful gold bowtie emblems to black and ordered new 22" wheels.
