HID SUGGESTIONS!!!

Hello folks, now I’m in a sticky situation I’m going to get some HIDs for my headlights and I’m stuck between getting 6k or 8k. I want my lights to have that new Audi headlight color so should I get 6k or 8k? Also if you have 6k or 8k lights please drop some pictures of them thanks!

I have 6k on mine. I like them. Nice icy blue color. I do not have a picture right now though. Not nearly as blue as 00chevyhd has. Just a nice blue tint.

After a certain kelvin...the light output diminishes. It then just becomes a matter of how blue you want your lights to look!

If you want Audi color then it's going to be 4300k bulbs... that's what every OE uses. Now if your seeing any blue when looking at it, it's because you are in the color part of the cutoff. They all have hid projectors.

Mine are 5500k bulbs on 55w. So pretty much 5k and pure white. But if you look at them in the color band of the cutoff you can see blue and purple.

No problem! In case you wanted to know, the headlights are Hikari XHP50 LED bulbs. The turn signals are 3157 “A Type” switchbacks from Super Bright LEDs, the side markers are 194 5 SMD Tower Cool White LEDs (also from Super Bright LEDs), the fogs are 880 LEDs from JDMAstar, and the DRL’s are Lumawerx 4114 bulbs from HID Kit Pros. A mismatch, I know, but they all seem to work good and match relatively well (they’re all supposed to be 6000K).

You're actually completely wrong but it doesn't matter. Hid's deliver not only more but a better quality light but all that matters is what you like.
