You did good on 'em for $25.

I'm curious what you did for clearance cuz I hope I'll be needing to do some clearancing on mine. (Yes, I HOPE it's needed. If it's not needed, then it's not low enough!)

These pics are pretty self explanatory with the little tags. Of not, let me know and I'll be happy to add any more details. This works for NBS and NNBS, SUV and trucks

Nice and easy. I'm glad there's considerable space behind that plastic liner. Thanks for the details!

No problem, glad I could help. It's really easy. Takes a few minutes for the first side, bit after doing one, you should be able to fly through the other side.

I use a Metabo saw, and a Sawzall.

Oh, I'm sure I'll find ways to complicate it. You know- drill holes and spot weld the folded up piece so it looks factory original, heat the liner to nearly-melting and reshape it, prime and paint...

Maybe while I'm in the area with a cut-off wheel and welder I should just go ahead and partially tub it in case I ever wanna 'bag it. :blah:

To put a number on it, you gained what- at least an inch?

[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] . I'd say an inch to an inch and a half. You'll never see that folded up part unless you remove that liner, lol

I know, I know. But, this is the nicest vehicle I've ever owned and it'd bother me to know that it didn't look "as factory as possible" behind that liner, even though it's not seen. I have issues, ok?! I was the same way about my Xtreme when I bought it nearly-new in '02. But, a few years later the "ice was broken" by getting a new motor from a failed supercharger "experiment". So then it was game on and that truck got blown to pieces and deeply modified from the inside-out.

On another note- you said it rides worse than the HD. Is this after you lowered it?

Installed shock extenders yesterday, got it aligned today. Couldn't get pass camber in spec. Gonna need camber kit.

I'll be getting a notch, so I'll go that extra 1/2 up front and camber kit and realign after getting the notch

Thanks a lot man. The problem with this color is that it's hard to tell where the tires actually stop in pictures, lol
