I am basically going to start this thread as a way to keep track of maintenance and mods for my 09 Tahoe.
Join in with your honest opinions if you like, give advice is you want, and steal any ideas if you need to.

For starters, I purchased it Feb 1, 2017 with 130247 miles.

11 days later I did removed the door trim that was curling.

March 1st I replaced the following:

ABS sensor AC DELCO 20938122 for passenger rear wheel.
Passenger side mirror glass DORMAN 56082 .
Front swaybar links AC DELCO 45G0002.
Brake switch AC DELCO D1539J

Ordered all those from Rock Auto .

March 6th, I installed a Diablosport I2013 tune.

March 25th, I did a complete brake job.

Then you guys gave me some more inspiration.

Today I installed my LED reverse lights and underhood LED lights.

This is the stuff on the agenda today.

The under hood light install went easy. I started by locating my switch. I used tin foil to set switch height. 20170414_165121.jpg
Then I closed the hood and measured the height.

Then removed brace and installed switch.

Then I built my wiring harness. I tapped the power from the junction box by the battery.

I couldn't get good pics of the reverse lights, but that install was pretty easy. Probably will add 2 more LED strips under the hood at a later time.

Wait, why are you asking?, if its because his batt is back there nnbs come stock there nbs came stock in front location. Is that why you asked?
Yup, saw his battery back there. I know I've seen nnbs with batteries in the front. Did I imagine that? Was there an advantage for you to put in two batteries? Got a pic of your setup?

Just noticed this thread and am gonna follow it.

Great work on the underhood lights! Very clean and professionally done.

I should make a thread on mine to document it's life with me.

You definitely should have a build thread for your truck. If nothing else, it's cool to go back and look at all you've done. It might surprise you once you've documented it.
