My daughter had the back hatch lift gate open and backed out of carport and busted off the bracket that holds the license plate lights and the bottom hatch handle.

I bet she feels terrible! Hopefully it won't be too expensive of a fix for you. Good luck.

I had a similar experience that happened to my 02 Denali where my young son at the time closed the garage door while my liftgate was still up. It was the first cuss word I ever heard out of his mouth. I think he was around 6 at the time.

^^ :lol2:

Isn't it funny or not as the case may be how the TYF can find a way to turn a truck lovers lament into a truck lovers cool mod. @07Burb

Yukon appliqué would be cool and shaves the bow tie. Black will be easy to color match yourself.

I live in the NW and have pulled the fuse on my rear wiper so it can never be used. I'd love to shave it off completely. I hate how they scratch the glass whenever they're used. Drives me nuts when I go to wash the truck. Just my .02 though... (inner OCD in detailing kicking in)

Mine was as well initially... It has taken me years of polishing the glass each time I detail the rig to rid it of the minor scratches.

Mine is mostly when the wiper first hits the glass. What glass polish do you use? I was told i wouldn't ever be able to 'fix it'

I use Griot's products. I have used several different pads coupled with their glass polish and just repeated use with my orbital.
