Leaky sunroof

hey guys my 2001 Yukon Denali has a slight leak in sunroof around the edges nothing major just little drops how do I fix it

Rule of thumb on sunroofs, The sunroof seal is not designed to keep all water out, If you are experiencing a leak it is most likely one or more of the four corner drains being stopped up. the water backs up in the tray and runs over and gets the headliner wet. You need clean out the drain tubes. keep us posted!!!

Where and how can i access that tray to clean the clogged drain tube

Open the sunroof and look for 1/4 inch holes in each corner

You dont want to blow air down them though. Occasionally if you blow air, the hose will detach from the nipple. Now you have to drop the headliner to reattach. The way we find the culprit drain is to pour water down each one and see which one backs up. Then figure it out.

Thank you guys today I will open the sunroof and look for those holes and pour water to see which one is backed up wow man didn't know as much as I thought about sunroofs man this website has become one of the best tools to finding problems with my truck plus all the great people like you helping man enjoy your day

Its much easier too, when we aren't dicks like on GMFS.
