when testing, put it in M5 to avoid the V4 mode and see what the results are. If there's buffeting and/or vibrations, you know it's not V4 related. I would like to think a dealer would know better, but I've learned they don't have a clue sometimes regardless of all good intentions. I'm certain the vibrations will be less without V4, but guessing the buffeting will still be present.

My advisor just called. He definitely felt the pressure (frequency) and they engaged the GM engineering team. The team asked them to leave some form of valve open and try it. He said the pressure was gone when they tested it. GM engineers told them to replace the exhaust system.

Curious if this cures buffeting/pressure feeling. Most with buffeting experience in v4 as well as other times.

Hopefully in your case it is only when in V4 mode.

It's what the GM Engineers advised. They are leaving the valve open, new exhaust system arrives on Tuesday.

My concern is I took it in for the 3rd time for "low speed vibration". They wouldn't acknowledge that but did say when they test drove they noticed droning/pressure.

I will update again when I get it back with the open valve and again after they replace
Exhaust.

Let me post my findings once I pick it up this afternoon. They've left this pressure valve thingy open... new exhaust will be here Wednesday.

Picked it up..... pretty upset there are smudges and black grease marks all over the interior. I'm super **** about keeping my car clean.

The shaking, vibration and sound of being in a helicopter still exists. So.... I don't see any difference. At all.

And why can't my daughter charge her iPod and play on it without the sound coming thru the vehicle and me constantly having to push the radio button. Beyond aggravated. Icing on the cake is the rear window motor is now screaming when I raise and lower the window!

Sorry to hear...I'd push for new tires to help with buffeting/pressure assuming you try to keep ownership.

The GM Engineers recommended a new exhaust system. Dealer says the tires all RFBd within specs. At this point... I want another one. I want the exact same vehicle just one that runs/rides like it's suppose to.

I intend to send this thread, a copy of all service records and a log of all my time/convo/visits to the owner of the dealership and GMC via certified mail next week. I will give them notice of my intention to retain a "lemon law" attorney unless they would like to swap it out before I go down that road.

I guess I'm a positive note, at least my service advisor and tech are acknowledging the issue and not making me feel like I'm crazy.

As long as the service advisor and dealership acknowledge the issue I don't think you will need an attorney. GA lemon law is pretty clear. They get 3 tries...You notify them in writing......they get one more try. If still not fixed the buy back process begins.
