Hallo! My name is Filip. I'm visting this forum quite often but I've never really introduced myself. Now I'm thinking about more and more mods in my Tahoe, so it's high time to do it :)

I live in Poland, Central Europe. I work as an automotive journalist, specialised in commercial vehicles, mostly long-haul trucks. I'm little bit crazy about stuff like this. But last summer, after my holiday in the USA, I also fall in love in Chevy Trucks. So I sold my lifted 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition and bought a 2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 LT. So far I've made some minor mods, like billet grille, clear parking lights, 1.8 inch hubcentric wheel spacers, new 265/75 AT tires, blacked tail lights and Magnaflow muffler. Further mods comming next week.

At work I drive about 30 different vehicles a year, mostly brand new vans, pickup trucks or bigger trucks. But I have to admit, that Tahoe is one of the best vehicles I've ever driven, even though it's already 15 years old. I truly love every minute I spend in it. BTW, it's a very, very rare model in Poland and I've never seen another Tahoe in my city, which has about 600.00 citizens. It's also considered a really huge vehicle in here.

That's how my Tahoe looks when there is no mud on her (so not so often...)

And that's her on typical European parking place:

Hello Filip,
I can relate to your second picture as I was raised in europe and know too much the size of parking spots. I imagine being up high in a Taheo must be that much more enjoyable as everyone else is in small cars!

If you like the parking spot picture, you will also like this - my Tahoe and one of the smallest European cars. It is a Fiat 126P, which was the most popular car in Poland in 70s, 80s and 90s. Now it's driven mostly by petrolheads, as a hobby :)

It was a first series Orvis, so no hood vents, but still looking really good. Unfortunately it was a typical Jeep, so literally "Just Empy Every Pocket". For sure emptied mine :) Two pictures of the Jeep, one with my beautiful girlfriend, at an American cars meeting:

Welcome! I also think it's kind of cool that yall have American cars meet ups. We mostly have just have general car shows and manufacture meet ups where I'm from. When I was 15 we mostly just drove around and parked in fast food shop parking lots and wrecked havoc when and where we could racing and doing burnouts lol.

There are many meetings of this kind. That's because American cars and trucks are very rare in Europe, considered as something special. You know, when gas is about 5 dollars a gallon, everybody prefers smaller engines.
