A noticeable difference in what? HP- I doubt it's much. I'm not sure if I could really tell. MPG- ditto but since my tune I drive a lot faster since it's so much more fun and quicker. But it sure makes it easier to work on the front of the engine, and it looks way better!
Yeah I noticed I got into it a whole hell of a lot knowing its tuned. Since I'm usually all highway driven, I think it runs a lot smoother running between 70-80. Hey if I can more MPG its s gain for me, I baby her better than I would a new 2016!

I don't know why this guy is giving me heartache about it then. Refuses to do it without the fans being in.

I bought my efan OEM harness and fans from an eBay seller. Very responsive seller. As part of the deal, they would program the ecm to turn the fans on. Well, the fans didn't and I hard wired a switch to turn them on when needed. Had a BB tune and the fans now work as they are suppose to. My point is even a good tuner may not know exactly how to do it properly. I have also read that many people get a BB tune before the fans themselves and they work fine once installed with no issue before they are installed.

Installed the 05-06 Electric Fans & Blackbear Performance tuned ECM today. What a difference converting that damn clutch fan!

Efans are hands down the best mod I did on my truck. Funny to think i got a tune just to activate pins for fans which later led to a cammed motor swap..what a snowball lol..

Speaking of which. Considering a decent looking black '05 Denali XL for ~5.5k$ with 160k miles on oem 20's. Looks like it has an airbag light on... not sure how much I should worry about that.

Any thoughts?

I have a code reader that should be able to pull the codes.

Airbag light is more than likely the front impact sensors. Had to replace one on mine.

I googled it real quickly. That is what I had read. Seems easy enough. How much did you spend? I see $65 @ amazon for a dorman one.

Here it is. Don't love the headlights, but otherwise it looks to be in much better shape visually that my old nali.

Im guessing its a 2/3 drop. Hopefully a decent one. Hopefully the air ride works.

Looks good! Find you some OEM lights, or go with the depo's and some polished or machined wheels... Just my opinion.

Those wheels are plastidipped I'll bet. Wonder how the chrome looks underneath. I also have some 20's in my garage that I was gonna put on my old nali. So I have some options.

Yeah I'd probably consider dropping the coin on Depo's. Atleast those lights don't have smoked lenses. Thats a pet peeve of mine.

Just replaced the o2 sensors(upstream & downstream) on bank 1...got rid of the CEL on the dash but i managed to find 4-5 wires broken/shredded on the wire harness that runs between the muffler and drive shaft, i'm not really sure what they're for but it seems they've all oxidized and can't tell what color they are anymore

I'm contemplating slapping a for sale sign on this damn truck, thing is turning into a money pit!

You can see in the pics the original upstream o2 sensor compared to the new one

In the third pic you can see how little room you have to tighten/loosen the upstream(front)o2 sensor with the muffler/cat in the way

The last pic you can see the torn wires i found, i didn't have enough room to get a good pic

Do you have a towing package on your truck, or do you at least have the RPO for it? It might be a wiring harness for that?
