Did I miss a post? You gonna use yukon heads or denali heads?

Btw the sexist shrouds ever made.
I did my retro 3yrs ago using a complete retro; Hids, ballasts, mini h1 projectors with Gatling gun shrouds from TRS. I used my stock Denali lights, found a used set of oem Denali lights for dirt cheap off Craigslist to use while I took my time with stocks. Output is great looks great and honestly wish I had done it earlier, especially since I've been using my truck to drive the family from NY to Florida every year since my now 7yr old was born. I'll post pics of how they look now and with the new shrouds. I think I have some pics posted in a thread I had made a while back.

Don't buy that POS " universal" one- get an ACDelco. And no do NOT cut the screen off it or you will ruin it. Here's an Amazon link. I know it's way more expensive but if it fixes your problem it's worth it.
https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_ime_c_1_15?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=ac+delco+19330121&sprefix=AC+Delco+193301,aps,287&crid=1KHIXYIXH7HC0
Edit: it you look at your Amazon link you'll see they steered you to an aftermarket one even though you specified ACDelco.

Well i replaced the old maf sensor with an ac delco yesterday and the truck is still running rough...rpm's are all over the place, not sure if i should try and replace the fuel rails next???

Only other thing i can think of, is doing a compression test after basically giving the truck a heart transplant:emotions133:

I picked up an NNBS Tahoe rear visor on ebay to mount on my NBS. It’s going to take some modifications to get it to fit but the roof line matches exactly. The ends will have to be reworked to match the curvature of the glass, so I picked up a sheet of 1/8” thick ABS plastic to do some plastic welding. I’ll probably be swapping the rear glass to the ’05-06 second design since it has three similar mounting holes like the NNBS glass.
I guess a few of us had the same idea.

Ordered a smoked 3rd light replacement (for stealth) until I can figure out how to make the 3rd light trim from a NNBS or a NNNBS work on the back.

Got a body shop lined up to colormatch my Esky appliques (thanks @05Single ) and any other NEW body parts i bring in, so looks like I may order the HD hood sooner rather than later.

Today, I'm trying to decide if I wanna order the LED tailights, and just go ahead and have the whole tail "new"

or if I wanna order the Depo Headlights and the Anzo LED bumper lights,

since the "aftermarket" ones that were installed after the wreck are already collecting moisture...

I'll keep you updated on what's happening with the mod. I need to pick up new rear glass first so that I have a better idea of how to mount things.

Def keep us updated. I'm sitting back on this one!:popcorn:
On another note: I finally dropped the dirty Hoe off for the swap. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly. Wish me luck. So the How is down, work van is down, got rid of blazer, so I'm left driving this--

Damn Tony. Mad jealous. I've always wanted one. Even flew to w. Virginia in 2000 when I was 21 trying to buy one. Guy wouldn't budge $500 off the price even though I had a bag of cash. That was all I had so I flew home without it. Oh well, it had some rust and needed work.

That car has led a rough life. Ex wife smashed passenger side from bumper to bumper, got it fixed but now all the bondo is starting to pop through. Has t-tops, which I hate and they ALL leak. I've had it since 95, traded my Typhoon for it, should've kept it. Bought it with 43-44,000 miles and it just hit 48,000. I'm on my 3rd motor too. But....when i step on the gas, it goes and goes in a hurry! So i guess it is fun! :driver::chewie:

Bought a used tire on Ebay that matched the set that came on my Yukon a few weeks ago, and then picked up a 20" rim from a 2009 Nissan Titan at a salvage yard last weekend.

Today I had them mounted and balanced as a full sized spare that I don't have to worry about messing up the AWD, and that I feel comfortable using if I had to put it on while towing.

It fit nicely in the place of the original 16" and doesn't hang any lower then the rear differential so I didn't loose and ground clearance.

Went on a 200 mile drive yesterday. After fueling up I smelt a hint of fuel Oder, didn't think anything of it. Curled up to come home and the smell was like spilt fuel. I crawled around the truck and can't see any leak but can smell it.
I think the fuel pump module is steel and has started to rot. Lines look good and no signs of a leak.
Has anyone ran into this ?
