How's the new shift kit feel?

you can definitely feel the difference on that 1-2 shift, feels much better. i think next im gonna do the vett servo.

I was thinking of doing something like that or bedliner for them but i went with the x2 paint from rustoleum as a top coat after the rust converter gonna see how it holds up.

All I have is the vette servo. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade on its own.

i really got to get on that and get it done soon,

on another note i found out why i lost 5th fan speed and i got some painting done while i was at it.

This last bolt to get the black cover off on the passenger side is the biggest pain as there is barley any space to get the socket in but once i get it everything else works out. i only took this off as i was replacing the driver side blend door as well. If your just doing the resistor you don't have to take that bolt out.

Got tired of the faded gray look time for flat black

Did you install the shift kit yourself? How bad/hard was it to do ?

add in the post how it looks mounted forgot to add that picture yesterday

I used rustoleum pro 2 and then a semi gloss clear coat i think it matches abit better

yes you can just do the kit without the servo and it will still be good its just a nice little extra to add.
also this is my 2nd time doing it so a bit easier. just make sure to have the right drill bit sizes that it ask for in the manual and what i found to be the biggest pain was the bracket for the trans shift cable it gets in the way of dropping the pan but once you get around that you're good.

yeah it does that gray was just so faded and out of place looking i still have to paint the top part its looking abit faded black

many shift kits include things that work similarly to the vette servo (like springs or spacers for the stock servo)

overall i have not felt much difference the most noticeable thing i have seen was that you get a more leveled look with the front handling feels fine. I might go out and get new spring once day when i get time. I was gonna try z71 springs but i hear you get a bit of lift out of them.

So i haven't been around in abit as my pc died now that its finally back up im gonna just make a big post with all the updates. I have taken a couple trips to pick n pull yards in pa and rl and they have been great
been able to find some little things i have been missing.

now for what's new,
go rhino push bar added (really well made i'm glad i bought it)
spot led bar added to the bar
straight intake taken from a 98 silverado( i feel like it has changed the intake sound a bit for the better and make a shorter path for air flow, also takes up so much less space than stock and cheaper than other options)
upper air box from the same silverado but with air cleaner gauge
trailer hitch need to get it sanded and painted
cargo door strap(it was missing since i bought the truck)
factory sub box rear (not installed yet)
all stepper motors replaced (gonna add the trans temp as its a plug and play mod from what i hear)
changed turn signal housing

Pic time lol

Man! I love the pushbar! Buy it new or used? I'm looking for the same style for my 03. I've been searching craigslist with no luck.
