I got cut off and took out a sign this morning. The windshield is smashed and the roof at the top of the windshield is smashed in about 2 inches deep with a hole. Is this repairable?

I'm sure it is. Time and labor to make sure it seals good around the windshield.

I highly doubt it will reach the percentage threshold to total it. Sunroof or no? Worse come to worse, I would say they would replace part of the roof skin.

Im no body man, so don't quote me

Ok still waiting on the total damage from the repair shop. They did tell me the front cross member has been split down the middle and laid open!! Does anyone have experience with this and what else could possibly be damaged?

Ive replaced a lot of roof panels and cross members / supports. Depending on year, condition, etc of the truck, Im sure it will be repairable. Do you have any pics you can post? How big was this pole?

I had one where it was on a car transport and the upper deck came down ontop of it. Bent the front crossmember and a few others, roof and windshield gone - I still straightened and repaired it. Was a pain in the balls to square up.

No pics as of yet. It is split in half and layed back. It was a standard sign.

So where the cross member attaches to the frame ripped also and buckled where the lower control arms attach. They told me $2800 for that alone. Theye told me it might be totalled due to that part $2800 then add labor for that and wverythimg else. They are waiting on word back from my insurance

Had to throw that in there. But back to business...a stop sign smashed your windshield, dented the hood and wrecked the frame?

A week prior I installed 2" drop spindles, rear 3/4 spring, new hub, new swaybar endlinks, SP shocks, new brake pads, and updated black bear tune. The 24" rims 3 month old and tires 2 weeks old.
