@Tonyrodz , I hadn't been since back when I was in high school. So it's a pretty fun trip now that I'm an adult haha. I'm at a big 3 day country music festival called route 91 harvest fest. All the big artists in country that I love are here.

So not quite a week being home from Vegas and work is already piling up. Ooi! Picked up my esky crossrails from the body shop from being painted yesterday afternoon. I was going to put them on yesterday evening but I ended up going down the mountain to celebrate my best friend's birthday. Which was awesome. So when both of my appointments for detailing jobs cancelled this morning, I decided hey I'm going to get those cross rails installed today! Well two and a half hours and three cups of coffee later I finally have everything finished up and what a pain in the butt that was! Next time any of you see me mention doing anything to change my roof racks please for the love of God stop me! Haha. Just to get the crossbars into the side rails required disassembling the entire roof rack from my car bring it inside and taking all the gaskets apart so I could slide the cross rails and their little mounting pieces into the side rails! And then putting,it all back,to,get required a ton of precise movement to get everything lined up just right so the screws all, went back where they should go, and the end caps fitted into each gasket just right. What a pain! :banghead: On the plus side now that everything's done it looks good and I'm really happy with the results. And the paint on the cross rails is a perfect match to my color. The body Shop I use does a fantastic job and he gives me good prices whenever I bring him stuff to paint. So all in all despite the hard work, I'm happy with the end results.

So I could be making a drastic change to my rig soon. I will know if that's going to happen or not Friday. In the mean time I have a question for you experienced guys, my Denali had satellite radio up until I replaced my head unit with my clarion setup. Stopped using the satellite radio for a while and now I want it again. Is there a way to connect up the xm module to the clarion unit. it seems ridiculous that I would need to buy a whole new xm module for the clarion unit considering there's already one from the factory installed. Is there a way to link the factory xm unit to my clarion or do I have to buy the clarion designated satellite unit and have that wired in?

So the said drastic change is happening. Not sure exactly when but it's started as these happened today. I'm pretty excited. Oem GMT900 Denali 20s gonna be going on soon. Got them used so not new but they are in pretty good shape. Found them on cragslist and just couldn't pass up the deal. Got them from a tire shop down at the base of the mountain. One has some minor curb rash that I wanna get fixed before mounting and I have to buy tire pressure sensors for all 4. And the good year eagle ls2 tires will need to be 86ed. So it'll be a little while before I put them on. But still really excited.

@Red Rocket , he said they had a fair amount of,tread left and it turns out they don't have much left. They're pretty worn. And I'm not sure that I like them either lol. I did some research last night and I can score a set of tires for pretty cheap through some local Craigslist adds. But I've gotta get rid of a set of steel slt wheels that a client dumped on me and I think if I can sell those off I can put that towards tires for my 20s. And then once the 20s are on I can sell my stock Denali 17s with my current tires and get a decent price as my current tires still have quite a bit of tread left.

Awesome, the best kind of an upgrade is one where you sell the old stuff so the new stuff doesn't cost so much! I've done that so many times I can't count.

So I scored 2 used Michelin ltx tires on ebay for pretty cheap with quite a bit of tread left on them for my 20s. Hopefully I can score 2 more in the next week or so and if I can than that means my 20s can go on! Getting there a lot sooner than I had thought which is really exciting!

So no mods on this post. Haven't had time to mess with my dip kit yet which is frustrating. Works got me running around like crazy. House sitting for a long time client this week at night. Stoked that I get to park my car in a garage over night! Especially with the rain we got today. Pulled into the garage this evening when I get here, cleaned him and he's ready to go for work tomorrow. Just thought I'd share my excitement over getting to park in a garage lol.

Seal that shit with something like Klasse. That chrome will peel if you get salt on it. Hell, it will peel if you look at it sideways!!!

The 20s I just replaced on my 08 Yukon Denali:

Fortunately I live in California and caltrans doesn't use salt on the roads because itll ruin our asphalt. So we don't get rust and wheel rot like that. Plus I'm a professional detailer so my rims are always sealed with good products.
