Did you have to drop the front diff to do the swap, and not counting the engine what did you have in the rest of the swap?

No differential had to be dropped, only thing i ran into was make sure you get knock sensors for a 5.3 and not the 6.0 so the harness will plug to your factory harness! I have flex fuel so i had the return fuel line, so i had to use my intake manifold, fuel rail and injectors, but i got a tuned pcm from black bear and they made my injectors and all work like the 6.0 injectors, other than those 2 things it was all just plug and play!

If you can get a vid of it breaking 35s loose on pavement, that would be awesome! I've always wanted a truck that could do that.

I don't need to see threads like this. Lol. I've got a 50k mile LQ4, 243 heads and other misc stuff sitting in the garage that is suppose to be for my '67 C10. My cousin is trying to talk me into putting all that in my Tahoe and doing a turbo 5.3 for the truck. Posts like these makes me think that's a good idea. :badidea::boti:
