Just a heads up, they (Gm) have a new exhaust system in production right now that should be released in June to remedy the drone while in V4 mode. Part isnt available until June so Gm paid 2 months of my Tahoe payments for me. The new Part that the engineers finally got into production is suppose to remedy the baffle issues and back pressure while in v4.

Dealers do act shocked or say we've never heard of that when you inquire about this noise.

I for one don't think I have this problem, 2016 Denali 800 miles. I do think that with the sunroof open, it sounds louder than usual but I don't mind as I rarely pop the top.

Just installed a Range AFM deactivation device... no 4cyl, no drone, no transmission/torque converter issues. Feels like a new truck.

FWIW, neither my Dino 15 shortie or my new 16 XL have any of these issues.

Just picked up a 15 Yukon sle and it def has it. I'm guessing its from the stock 18s. The steering wheel does have vibration at over 65 and upon stopping. Hoping it's just out of balance wheels tires...

Why did you sign for it if it had all these issues?!?!

Is there a % number of trucks that has these problems. I also asked a salesmen, and they are clueless as always.

i purchased a new 2015 yukon xl denali,
the interior liner is making a rattling noise (sounds like a loose wire in roof liner or loose roof liner)
i have taken to dealer twice and called onstar for help;
no help,
the dealer (after driving and hearing the noise) removed the rear entertainment system and saw nothing, except for the greasy finger prints the tech. left on my interior ceiling nothing was repaired.
if i press up on entertainment system the sound abates temporarily.

any advice, help?

'16 Denali. No buffeting at all at 8,600 miles. I did have some mild high pressure/buffetting very early in my ownership at around 500 miles, but it stopped very quickly.

'16 Tahoe XLT with 8K miles. No buffeting nor vibration issues at all. Now the wireless charging is another story.
Yeah, that was a poor implementation. Not enough coils. My S6 edge worked fine with a block of wood to keep it from shifting. My S7 edge won't charge no matter how I orient it.

Just traded in 2015 Yukon for 2016 Tahoe Ltz.
Had Yukon for 2 years and Gm helped me get out of it with 2k voucher. Steering column popping was last straw on that one. Had in dealership over 15 times for various things.
Did have buffetting for awhile but Road Force fixed.
Have had new 2016 for a week and dropped it off at dealer for major vibrations at 75-80 mph.
Convinced it has to do with 22" wheels not being balanced correctly.
Found out from dealer all Tahoe Yukons have 22" wheels put on at dealership not factory and that 22" wheels take a more skilled tech to balance correctly.

Hmm. My Yukon just developed the steering wheel pop/clicking sound. Was your dealership able to fix that? There seems to be many with that issue.

Yes they fixed it first time ( lasted 6 months) 2nd time ( lasted about same) 3rd time (lasted 3-4 weeks)
They take steering wheel off and it's in the shaft that repaired.
My 2015 Yukon was built early 2014 so I don't know if it's something in early production that has since been fixed. God I hope so. I really don't think I can handle all these issue again with new 2016.
