2007-2014 Project Headlights with Plasma Tube / Optic DRL

I wanted to make a new thread on this to see if people like or dislike this. I took out the retrofit projectors for this. Future plan is possibly upgrade projector and put philips HID kit in for low beam. Thoughts? I know Serge hates it already lol.

Yea that would be sick as well. I just liked the plasma tube that stays on as a DRL honestly. Makes it look more updated. Had to transfer the factory headlight harness over so I can change out the two incandescent bulbs down below (one white/one amber) and then get the philips HID kit. Then eventually change out the projector to a good one with a simple factory looking shroud like the Iris shroud. Not doing any of that now but imagining all of that done it could look really good.

Yea I need to adjust the tilt of the headlights and how high/low the beam is still. Once I get that tweaked I'll take some that's a good idea though.

Really dig finding and/or creating something different. Kudos.

Only trouble I have with this look is that it makes the Tahoe look like a GMC Acadia from the front view. Not hating; just making an observation.

Very nice felix! Actually like the look of the square headlights. Not keen on the drl but i could learn to like it. Definitely wouldnt mind getting these if upgrading the projectors is fairly simple.

I would want the plasma tube come on with lows and be a stand alone DRL when selected on switch idc for the automatic DRL system. I always flip my switch from auto to running lights if its day time. Also I am kind of looking into this now, is that I want both lights on bottom to come on with all other running lights when selected on switch and possibly be a sequential turn signal but for sure make both bottom lights turn signals and amber. I would do the same with these headlights as well.
