what mgp are you getting with 6.2L?

just purchased 09 Denali. I love it. Around town getting about 13mpg and on highway it wont go above 16.5. Where is the alleged 19mpg the MFG claims?

I think theres an older thread about this..anyways in the summer I was getting at least 16mpg (even with a bad fuel pump) I drove majority on the highway one day and the highest I got was 19.6-20 mpgs

My wife got about 12.5-13 in mostly city driving with her leaded right foot in her 07 Escalade. Highway was around 16-17, or so.

Both slightly lower than what she's now getting in the Tahoe. And she STILL has the lead stuck to her foot...

14.2 Average calculated by my display. Mostly city with a few highway jaunts 10-15 miles each per tank. Was pretty happy to just fill up for $2.35/gal!

I'm getting 11-12 mpg city. There are too many lights on my commute to work. I drive it normal not too heavy not too light. I got up to 18mpg on the highway averaging 75-80 mph. If I mix in some trips to LA from OC between tanks I get the average up to 13-14. Mine is a 2010 Denali.

In October I got just over 20 running mostly 75 mph over the course of a 1700 mile trip from Texas to MD.

Thanksgiving trip pulling a open trailer with two quads I averaged 14.

Both trips hand calculated.

I think being lowered while running the factory 20's helped. I just ordered 22's and expect a decrease
