They didn't start making 2x4 Z71's until 05 with the newer black red and silver logo. Notice how he has the silver and gold logo. Those are all 4x4's (00-04). The newer 05+ have the newer emblem and the ones that are 2x4 just say "Z71" whereas the 4x4's actually said "Z71 4x4"

Welcome If it has the BOSE stereo in it, and the oprtion for the RSE you can get a PAC adapter for an AUX, in - i have one - works great.

Yep, it does. Onstar and XM as well. I have been looking at the different adapters. Trying to decide if I want to spend the $150 for an adapter or go balls out and put in a whole new unit with goodies.

Forgive my ignorance, for I have never seen a Z-71 that was not a 4X4. As stated before, I am new to the NNBS vehicles. So with that said, my apoligies, and I do hereby withdraw my smart-assed remark!
