Well I bought an 04 Z71 4x4 Hoe on Saturday to be my daddy mobile. My wife doesn't feel my Jeep Cherokee and Suzuki Samurai, which are used for playing on rocks are reliable enough daily drivers. So we picked this up:
Has some flaws here and there but the interior sold it for me. Perfect. Higher mileage 156k but it's a Chevy so I am not worried about them. Plus from looking at maint. records looks like it was somebody's that traveled and took well enough care of it.
First things on the agenda:
35% on passenger windows back over factory tint. Should leave things pretty dark.
15% on front windows
5% brow
Figure out a aux. input solution without doing a new head unit just yet.
I have some window vents on order as well. I will probably leave it as is until summer. I'd like to do the esky rear pillar vents or the slick aftermarket ones.
Since my other vehicles are lifted I was asked not to lift this one, we will see how long I can resist the urge. Though I am used to solid axles. It also has brand new tires on it so would rather wait to wear them out before lifting.
Well, can't wait to learn a ton about these vehicles. Thanks for having me.
