Hey all,
It was my plan to remove the running boards from my Yukon XL SLT when I bought it. I’ve always viewed them as a liability; weak in construction and at a cost of ground clearance. However, I quickly realized the front and rear bumpers are built low to match the steps and it might look off to be without some form of trim.
Denali steps are low-profile, but I’m not looking to go to all that trouble and expense.
Anyone have the N-FAB Nerf Bars? I don’t love the steps (not exactly solving my ground clearance concerns), but I sometimes use a Yakima Skybox so a step is handy and they look to be more sturdily constructed than what I have going on.
If anyone has them I’d be interested to hear how you like them. Would like to see some pics too.
Best regards,
Dave
