Z95 Shocks on a Z55 Suspension?

I saw an earlier thread but didn’t get a definitive answer. Looking for a straightforward answer so i can fix my shocks on my 2010 Suburban. Thanks.

Talked to a GM Mechanic he told me the Z95 Shocks will fit on a Z55 Platform. He said the only difference is the dampening and travel distance. The Z95 will be a little stiffer than the Z55 Shocks but will still work Perfectly.
