Z71 Yukon (Pic Request)

Hello Everyone,
I am relatively new here and had a couple questions. I know that the Z71 roof racks will fit on a Yukon, however I have not seen one single picture of it done. What I would like to do is "Z71" my Yukon. My plan would be to add the Z71 roof racks, fender flares, possibly the side moldings and maybe even color match all chrome items. I have searched and searched and cant really find much on people doing this. Has anyone done something similar? Can anyone lead me in the right direction on what to search? Do you have pics? I'm sorry if this is in the wrong location, Please feel free to move it.

BTW: 2002 Yukon SLT, 80K miles Black with Tan interior, third row.

Don't have any pics for you but I did some research on this a while back. From what I understand everything from the Z71 Tahoe will fit the Yukon except for the front valance with the fog lights. This is IMO one of the best features of the Z71 Tahoe and since it wouldn't work I scrapped the idea. Good luck in your search.

Thanks for the responses guys. As far as the front bumper/valance goes, I'm ok with what's on there. I think I will change the grill to the 03+ Sierra grill to "toughen up" the front end.

Fishencrickets , I would love to see pics if you have any. I can't believe I haven't been able to find any pics. I was wondering if the front lined up ok with the bumper?

Hmm, my apologies for not answering this question! I've got 18's but I can't remember the exact size right now.. The front end is cranked up as for as the torsion bars will go and the rear end is beef up with some hotchkis stuff...

I'm bumping this thread because I found a roof rack and I'll be posting pics by this weekend... Hopefully.

Looks good, but you should color match those fenders IMO.

I think he should paint or dip the chrome bumper and grill black to match the flares. Throw a Z71 rack on top and its one rugged truck.

I would do the bumper and grill (and wheels) to match the flares, but I'd want them all to be a textured finish... Meanwhile there's just enough chrome on it, and the roof rack I just installed damned near completes the package!

Now all I need is a black wrap around brush guard and some tail light guards and....

Aaaarrrrggghhh I know!!!

Been too daggum busy, it's making me sick.. Then there's the spots that were left I my top from my old rack, the ones in the center of the rack still show.. There's lil scuffs ALL over the top from loading the canoe on the flimsy lil factory rack all summer...

I'm a mess... Late winter/ early spring seems to be the time I get into the detailing the hardest..

Yeah, I wouldn't argue and IF I ever get the sweet as blacked out wheels I'm looking at I'll definitely go through and dip all the chrome.

Then we're birds of a feather! When I got the opportunity to scoop up one of only 4k Formulas built in 1990 I jumped on it..

Now we see if I bit off more than I can chew.
