Thanks to Serge for pointing out that the air dam only costs about $50.00! With that in mind, I went to work! Using a pair of straight tin snips and a light sander in about 30 min I had another 3.5 inches! And as we all hear....bigger is certainly better! I did use a chalk line but there's a very natural crease that you can follow. The beauty is it gives you a straight line bottom, with a bit of protection for the front bumper and gets you more clearance! Sorry the pics aren't bigger

That's awesome dude ... love to see a couple of pics of the whole truck to get a feel of the overall look.

Btw, what part of Jersey you at? I'll be coming through mid January and I'm coming over for you to do mine. :)

Your Grill/Bumper are different to the Non-hybrid's I dont think a Denalis grill will fit correctly. but there might be aftermarket ones that look similar to the OEM Denali grill.

Mike, Edgar is correct, our bumper covers are too different and the standard Denali grille won't work. Unfortunately Grillcraft, although they make one for the HyHoe, do not make one for the YuHoe.

The only ones I could find are these:

http://www.car-parts-accessory.com/Yukon+Hybrid+2008++Billet+Grille+Insert/5678/

I'm not familiar with either of these brands so I can't attest as to their quality.

DOesnt look as bad as I would have thought! Nice job.. I still prefer it with, but this is a clean way off adding some additional clearance. Looks good since its still level with the running boards and rear bumper piece.
