Nice! Thanks for getting some pics/vids up! That's the same place I was thinking for a dump on mine. I bet my 6.2 will have a little deeper sound to it and more throaty on cold startup. Get more vids when possible, think you're the only one on here with a dump.

Thanks, man! Sorry it took so long. Yeah, yours should definitely be more throaty if you have a 6.2L. I'll get a rolling vid, it sounds MEAN under load, it really gets its voice.

In, IMO. Actually tried it both ways before deciding on it. Sounds better, bouncing off the bottom of the truck

No electric motor and stuff yet. It's open 95% of the time and I just crawl under and cap it if I need it quiet. Takes 3 minutes. An electric valve is next.

I wanna do a electric cutout , but I'm afraid of it getting stuck open or closed during winter.
Manual sounds like a pita but it's how they did it back in the day, and I ain't lazy to crawl under.
I want my exhaust all stock then have a cut out for shock value on people's faces lol.

Lol! That's what I always do. That or delete the mufflers and put the stock tips back on. Love the shock value. Especially when people think mine is a PPV, then I floor it and roar off.

A friend of mine found an electric cutout on eBay they he's had for a long while through all conditions with no issues.
