2007 Tahoe z71.

I am thinking of updating the rear coil springs.
I would like to lift it 2 inches over the stock height.
I am interested in

Dorman 929-930xhd
CARGOMAXX 351-897XHD

Anyone who has installed them please reply. What is the actual height?
Can you recommend any other coils that will lift it 2 inches?

I will not use spacers.
It is not air ride, not electric suspension.

So I can update this one as I just put these on.
General Spring: CARGOMAX/HD

35 % stiffer, 351-897HD: $203.00

I have a 2013 Escalade with air ride. It raised the back about 1.5” which I wasn’t expecting but I’m ok with. It definitely improved the handling. Might have to level the front a bit but so far it rides great. Had to jack it up pretty high and remove the wheels to lower the axle enough to get them off but it wasn’t too bad of an install. I do have Hellwig front and rear sway bars which help greatly too.

Can you confirm these are the same springs?

I have some spacers, but I'd also prefer to just have a spring back there.

I thought the Z71 was already ~1.5" higher than standard..

If the XHD springs raised the back of an escalade 1.5", might that be the same height as a stock Z71?
(Though the escalade should be a little heavier in back)

Yes they are. I really like the ride as the stiffer ones help in the corners and real smooth on the highway. Truck does t bounce as much as before either. Now I need to lift the front a bit. :)

If I've already a Z71, and I don't want to gain ANY height / would prefer to lose an inch of height,
and I REALLY want stiffer springs, are XHD rear coil springs of any use to a guy like me?

Am already considering S10 body mounts, aw well as which stiffer front torsion bars to get ...

What's the deal with S10 body mounts?
Driving my Z71 in a NYC parking garage is harder than walking around in a room with a low ceiling and lower pipes -
I can bend down to protect my head, but going from 42psi to 28psi only lowers my Z71 about 0.5". S10 body mounts would lower about 1".

So I found this ...

I wish that our fenders and wheel-wells allowed for larger tires to fit. I much prefer the idea of gaining ground clearance with larger tires and increased down-travel, vs. taller springs. I love the look of big tires tucked up into the wheel-wells.

I've been toying with the idea of dropping the front Bilsteins down to the lowest setting, and pulling out the rear 1.5" blocks. My rig came to me with aftermarket wheels and 33" tires, and those never rubbed in the front... well... until I tweaked the bumper cover bouncing off some mud holes.
