Worn Radio Button Replacement

I finally ordered the stickers to put onto my radio buttons that have worn off and turned white from wear and tear over the years.

Problem is, the sides of the button and edges are worn off too, leaving white exposed. What have you guys used to mask or paint the black back onto them? I’ve tried sharpie, but it’s more glossy looking than the factory matte look.

I am not bothering with mine, but if I were to try this...
I might try Glad Press and Seal wrap.
It sticks pretty good.

Lay it over and trim around the buttons.
