My 97 Tahoe died on me while going 80-85mph uphill on the freeway. I pulled over and let it cool down for about 20mins. It just crancked but wouldn't start. I towed it back home and after messing with it for a while, i got to turn it back on. But only disconnecting a wire from a spark plug. If i plug the wire back on its place while the truck iddling, it kills it. So i checked the spark plug but seems good and not too dirty. Only by disconnecting a wire i can turn it on. Otherwise, the truck cranks but won't start. Any suggestions before i take it to the shop?
