This morning my wipers would only come on if i turned them to full speed. Also the windshield spray and wipe function was not working.
Think I need a new wiper motor?????

Usually it’s the circuit board on the wiper motor that causes the wipers to flake out. Pull the cover and look for any cracked solder on the board. Reheat/resolder any that are defective.

Since it’s free, I’d look at that first.

As mentioned, the circuit board on the motor assembly is a common failure point due to cracked solder joints. The multi-function switch is also a possibility. +1 on checking the circuit board first. Couldn't hurt to re-flow the solder joints just to be sure since you'll already have it opened.

Autozone sells the circuit board for around $25, exact replacement. Just did mine, pretty easy.
