Will this fit in my '98 Hoe...? Can get a steal on it if. Seller is not sure exactly what it came out of, just knows it's GM stereo.

Well this is why I really like this forum. After doing some more thread reading for a few minutes after my post I found the answer to my own question. General consensus is that it's not compatible because of din size and wiring. So I'll be hunting a good deal on an aftermarket unit.

like you found out... no. The 03+ radios are connected to a VIN and have special wiring needed, not just power/ground like pre 03

these kinda look like the oem and Metra just came out with two double din kits
