The best 95 tahoe

My 1995 tahoe turned 300000 miles yesterday. I love this truck more than any woman I've ever been with. This truck goes on a fishing trip every christmas to florida. It goes on endless Boyscout trips towing a 12ft trailer. It towes my 12ft work trailer often. but it's most impressive accomplishment is that it has endured my lead foot for 100000 miles, while going on the beach at least 100 times a year. Al on original motor. I WILL NEVER PART WITH IT.

Nice truck! Is that a 6" lift?

Thanks and yep, rough country 6" suspension lift and then I cranked another 1.5" from torsion keys in the front so the front has 7.5" lift.

'04 with 160k. ball joints, front wheel hubs, auto climate control (rear), amp and water pump are only repairs.

Lived with dreaded battery drain for three years.

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by "dreaded battery drain"? I am assuming it has something to do with the battery going dead all the time because something is pulling power but is this a common problem?

Rolled over 319K today. 01 Yukon.

Original motor
Second Trans

I change the oil, trans fluid, diffs, and transfer case fluid, regularly. Maintain them and they will run forever. Mine still runs like a top, everything operational down to the heated leather.

I have an 05 with 197k. I am actually on the site today searching for answers to a problem that just started today. Im sure many have experienced this but no power assist in the steering at low speeds.
