White letters IN, always IN!! Haha. IMO, There is nothing worse than seeing white letters on tires, it steals attention away from the vehicle. They also don't stay white, and look even worse as they age. It reminds me of the old 50's cars that had the white rings. There's nothing cool about white on tires.
You mean white walls? If you can’t appreciate white walls on a 50s car than you sir.... I ... I ... have no words

wow, this is still going on? hey I am having second thoughts about this, I may put white letters out on mine.
It’s funny cause it’s one of those things that people don’t mind white letters out , or they absolutely hate white letters out lol

I guess it kinda fits a lifted truck, that 80's look blackout truck with white letters "back to the future"

As someone who work's at a tire shop, I hate white lettering because of the blue stuff they put over the white letters washes off when wet and stains my gloves. But here's how I see it. Stock white lettering looks terrible, and if I'm running cheap chinese tires the last thing I'm going to do is bring attention to the brand. However, I am a pretty big fan of tire stickers. If you're running Toyo's, Nitto's etc. its cool imo to have the solid white letters.

And no matter what whitewalls never look good on trucks, not even classics much less a tahoe, yukon or escalade.

And they will ALWAYS look good on classics.

I just can’t believe I’m trying to justify to anyone that white walls on classic American cars and trucks look good and belong there:shakehead:

Not a fan lol. But that’s just me, I don’t like the small wheels
Small wheels on a classic car or truck is where it's at for me but obviously everyone has tastes an opinions. I've seen both look good and both look horrendous so there's always a way to screw something up regardless lol

Depends on brand but on tire rack it seems sometimes there is a difference in price. If not putting them out I like them to just be the black wall version from the start personally.

Out always out. If you don’t like letters then buy the black wall and save some money.
One thing that does make me twitch a bit is when someone turns the white letters in and then I can see it as they roll down the road. Would MUCH rather just a black wall tire if I'm just gonna turn them in anyway
