Thanks for the replies, folks. I should have mentioned that the main concern is the windshield (in and out), and not the tint-side of my glass. Thanks.

Wait you are still a part of this conversation??? :Boo:

I would use newspaper or a microfiber rag and a good automotive glass cleaner :Handshake:

Invisible Glass from Stoner's is the best! It makes rain bead up on the windshield.

At my dealership we have tried dozens of different products and the best combo we have found yet is the Spray-a-way glass cleaner. And we only use Viva paper towels. I think they are made by Kleenex. I think the Viva's make all the difference.

According to the October 2008 issue of Consumer Reports magazine, the best two glass cleaners are Windex No Drip Streak Free Foaming Action (seems to be a product whose name has changed or is no longer made) and Sprayway Ammonia Free glass cleaner.

I wipe down glass with a wet rag and then buff with paper towel. No streaks no lint.

SW CT,
Started using Stoner's Invisible Glass back when it was an unknown brand...the best glass cleaner I have found, and I also use it on chrome wheels, and to clean bugs off the front of my tahoe after a roadtrip. Oh and I prefer the foaming aresol over the spray bottle.

Stoner's invisible glass. Also, Sprayaway foaming glass cleaner, same concept its an aeresol spray that foams..... and its cheap at walmart. :) FWIW, not sure if its still the same or not, but several years ago GM branded glass cleaner was the same foaming type of spray.

Another good one I have is a 3 step process: step 1 drive your truck out into the street and park it with windows up. Step 2 let there be rain. Step 3 hop in after the rain and get on the highway and boom it dries up and no streaks :)
