What used to be here?

Saw this while under my ‘99 ‘Hoe yesterday. Driver’s side, far rear corner, inner side of quarter panel. Looks like these zip ties used to hold something. Any ideas? Almost looks like they could have held a 12oz can, but this ain’t the drinker side lol.

I'm not sure. Might have been something aftermarket. Unless it has a rear wiper? Some suvs had rear washer fluid bottles that were a pain to fill, so they stopped doing that and actually started running lines to the front washer fluid reservoir. I haven't seen a rear washer fluid bottle since mid 2000's. I'm Not sure if a 99 Tahoe ever came with one.

They look like they'd be original items from the looks of the holes and no-interruption in the paint. Now I'm very interested to know what it was...

I thought so too but it’s the lower corner of the inside of the quarter panel

It looks exactly like a fuel filter holder that I have on my Envoy... Except the location is just wrong.

Yeah, looks like a grommet for wiring. The wiring from the fuseblock to the cab I believe has something that looks similar to this.

I would imagine its the same wiring harness for the Tahoe and Suburban.. They just bundle up the extra wiring for the shorter length needed, and zip tie it down.
