What kind Of shocks?

I am looking for some good rear shocks that does not cost a pretty penny,

No it is not lifted are there any more good brands? i am look for is some shock that ride like air ride shocks but i don't have to air them up all the time, lol I drive down a lot of washboard dirt roads and the main roads here in mishigan are very bad, Thats the terrain im up agensed xD

maybe edelbrocks performer ias if you can still find them or equivalent type from other maker. the dampening is dependent on road roughness.

monroes are decent for a low cost.

For the first time ever i have to disagree here , I had a set of monroes and thought they were terrible Yes the price you can't beat but the Quality didn't last 4 months before I had to swap them out again

well that was a general recommendation. they does have different types of shocks for different needs. maybe the type you got just did not wok out it happens.

Heard less than stellar things about Edelbroxk

From my CB Radio.

No complaints from me and so far from others i have heard install them in the last year. unfortunately they left the suspension and exhaust business. the prices on those things were kinda high and did not sale well as a result. but for whatever reason they would not lower their prices and just closed down those sections cause of weak sales.

would buy spares if i new the " shelf life " of them.

Bilstein 4600 are excellent and are like 90 bucks a piece on ajusa.com

How about the new "Gabriel 77609 Max Control"

I think the price is good I am thinking of buying it for my tahoe

Rancho's for a nice hard ride or Reflexes that have a dampner in them all made by Monroe Life time guarantee

Hmm ive had Rancho 5000's on for the last 7 years. No leaks or problems. Hadum on 76 blazer no problems with those either.

I want to ak if I want to do a 2" lift for the front and rear of my 98 tahoe, wuch shocks I should get?
