What are the differences in a Z71 Tahoe vs. an LT or LS besides the appearance? Suspension and drivetrain differences?

The Z71s also come with decals lol

Z71s are also Decepticons unlike the LTs and LSs which are Autobots

If I remember correctly the Z71 package also comes with the G80 locking rear end as standard equipment. It could also be ordered separately with a non Z-71.

Transformers are Not appearance packages they are real.

Hahahaha I am ok being a deception. When I decoded my "z" I found some strange options. It is suppose to be off road suspension and appearance package. Otherwise you can option almost anything.

There is 2WD Z71 package but its just an appearance package. An easy way to tell what package it is just look at the Z71 badges and a real Z71 will say Z71 4x4 on the badge.

But to answer your question it's mostly suspension, raised front bumper for clearance, skid plate and a higher ride height and 17" wheels.

Interesting, I've never seen a 2wd Z71. I always thought the non 4x4 was a Z66 package.

2wd is for the city folk who like driving full size rigs to the mall. I see them all the time here in LA.

The Z66 is on the 2 wheel drive avalanche's that are all rough looking but still 4X2 lol. A Z-56 Tahoe is a PPV not to be confused with a Tahoe SSV which is a 5W4. Which means 4X4 non pursuit rated.
