Hey Folks,

We‘re looking for a used High Country right now. The car is in good condition overall, a few small scratches here and there. Nothing big.

However, one of the back seats looks weird. Like compressed. The other seats are fine but this passenger side bucket seat doesn’t look like high quality.

Has anyone seen something like this? It‘s a 2021 model with 20k miles. Wondering whether the factory warranty would cover it?

Can‘t believe this is normal wear and tear after 20k miles. To me it just looks like poor quality.

Thoughts?

My guess would be a car seat as well. We are trying to avoid this ourselves by putting a towel down under the car seats

Probably had a child seat installed in it for a long time and stretched the leather. See if you can negotiate a new seat cover and cushion into the deal.
They very likely don‘t include it in the deal. The car will not be sold by a Chevy dealer and so I was wondering if factory warranty would cover it

i'd ask your local chevy dealer and/or a body shop you trust how much an OEM replacement leather seat would be...give them the VIN and hopefully you'll get someone competent to work with

this isn't what you need - but this is what you need for that vehicle

It's a void in the seat bottom foam. Probably didn't show when new until someone's butt stretched the vinyl.

My first thought was a child’s car seat but usually that’s not where the pressure would be put. I’m gona guess defective foam and bad leather. I’m sure a Chevy dealer could work something out for you possibly under warranty if not that then what’s a little more money anyway!! Ha
