Well, yesterday, but new to me '02, both sides front pad, rotors, calipers and rubber lines. Freed up and adjusted the ebrake too.

Worked a lot on my subwoofer addition the last few days. I've got the factory Bose system with the front console "subwoofer", but was never happy with the bass. Especially since I replaced the front door speakers with some Infinity References, highs and mids are great now. So I bought an OEM 00-02 rear sub box and cut and drilled out the spare tire tool mounting bolt to get the box to fit.

Right now I'm working on cutting the molded speaker grille out of the panel and installing an actual color matched 8" grille in its place. For the sub, I'm going with the Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 shallow mount speaker. I'm going to have to trim the outer bezel or maybe not install it at all for it to fit in the stock hole. As for the amp, I got the Kenwood KAC-M3001, and it fits easily in the center console, under the cup holder area along with the level control knob. My RF 10 gauge wiring kit (RFK-10i) and speaker wire should be here today, and the sub itself within the next few days.

I'll post pics when I'm done. The goal is for everything to be hidden it to look completely stock. Better than stock, IMO, with the color matched grille which matches the door speakers, instead of the molded plastic one.

Also ordered a replacement front endcap for my Esky roof rack that I guess I lost on the highway. Looks terrible right now, can't wait to get the replacement Plastidipped and reinstalled.

Removed the rubber coating that was peeling from console face. It's getting dark so I'll have to get the rest another day

:head3:Yesterday went to walk around a buddy's wrecking yard. He had just got a Yukon in and I grabbed some extra parts and lucky I found an after market TV :chewie:.
So today I put it in and grabbed an old Xbox and but them both in the taho :dogpile:. No both the kids and I are happy happy happy :favorites37:.

I will be going back Tuesday to see if I missed anything I wanted. Or want for future use. I did find a cubbie rubber I was missing. Cleaned it and put it In:peace:

Did the same thing using a pressure washer, flew right off. I dipped it using anthracite plasti dip and it's a pretty close match to the color and texture from the factory and much cheaper than replacing them.

I used brake cleaner to remove that gross rubber crap and painted it with dark grey interior spray paint.

Hope your enjoying your beautiful weather! Instead of protecting an HD hood I should wrap my whole truck like that to protect it from salt and mag chloride. :)

Yeah man. No complaints with our weather down here. Thank goodness I don't have to deal with that nasty road grime that you guys do.

The paper is off. Here's the HD hood pics.

@05alive what did you use (brand)to spray it and where can I get it? I'd like to do it to mine and at the same time repaint the dash, tiny little spots are missing paint.

Just finished up a bunch of stuff:

Electric Fan swap
Big 3 Battery Cables Upgrade
145 Amp Alternator
New Radiator
New Water pump
New thermostat
New Upper & lower radiator hoses
New Serpentine and AC belts
New Serp and AC belt tensioners/pulleys
New Idler pulley
New air filter
Cleaned MAF sensor and throttle body

(Figured I might as well freshen up all that stuff while I had the front of the engine open)

Finished my 2nd sub install (already have Bose). Factory rear box, Pioneer 8" shallow mount speaker, Kenwood mini amp, JL panel-mounted, color matched grille. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, but I still have a bit of tuning to do. I think it matches the door speaker grilles a lot better than the factory molded one.

Very nice, ya hated that factory thing. Seat doesn't interfere with the grill? Looks like it still out a bit in the pic.

Not too bad. I had cut the hole for a different grille before I found the JL. Hole is slightly bigger than ideal for the new one. Seat touches it a little, but doesn't hurt it.
